A concept i wish digimon would explore more is showing a digimon’s psychology and morals through evolution. Like have a utilitarian digimon who does horrible things but doesnt dark digivolve bc they genuinely believe they are morally correct (i would love it if one of the angel digimon did this just to hone this concept in). Like they’ll do brutal unethical experimentations but handwaves it off as “its for the greater good”.

Or do the opposite where a digimon dark digivolves bc they genuinely believe they are the worst when in reality they are probably one of the more morally righteous characters (i think fusion explored this a bit with beelzemon).

Like i think it would be pretty funny if the digimon with bright vibrant colors and angelic wings was killing baby digimon but the digimon with dark colors and a scary design was like volunteering at a food shelter

Further Digimon Fandom Space Alert.

Call me overkill but I am tired and our community does not need this.

Guardiandua's tendency to immaturely imply the "damnation of queers into the fires of Hell" when baiting other users into fruitless and unhealthy arguments is a danger to our community mental health.

Guardiandua seems to be misguided in thinking that if other users do not appreciate her stance, they can simply block her and move on. This is true, users certainly can, but my concern is Guardiandua not understanding how impressionable the members of MY community, the Digimon fandom, are. Many are teenagers. Some possibly younger. And while children certainly are not stupid, they are still children. I will not tolerate exposure of hate-speech and poor religious framing (of my religion no less) in my community.

Now, as for the post itself. The little blog that sparked this. Guardiandua insinuated a fandom-call for users who enjoy Digimon. However, it is explicitly stated in post that those who "condone homosexual pairings in media" are not to interact. Presumably, so that Guardiandua may make a "sub-fandom" of "correct minded, mentally stable individuals". I do not revoke Guardiandua's "freedom of speech", but surely we all can see the danger of an exclusive community space promoting segregation of queer users.

I will end on a warning: that, no, we should not engage in pointless arguments and name calling.

Please report, block, and move on.

Guardiandua, you seem to be the type who enjoys attention and righteousness. Please, for the love of my God, stop seeking out drama. It is unbecoming of someone who processes the Faith.

I do not care if you think your request was of little consequence. I do not care if you think me "chronically online" for "being mad" and "unreasonable".

I am not stupid, I know I will not convince you to do or think of anything other than this moronic, unhelpful mindset. But should you use my Faith as a poor and disrespectful shield, I will tear down your impudence. Leave my community. Good-bye.

I wonder why Toei keeps making Digimon projects only related to Digimon adventure and 02? I don’t think I have seen a reboot or revival of Tamers, Frontier, Data squad, or fusion.

Digimon fans, I have a question.

Do you really care if someone watches the sub or the dub?

I see a lot of talk about the differences about the sub's and dub's of digimon and I know that their different.

I watched the sub of Digimon Adventure 02 and while it was different at moments, the same major plot points and story still got through whether it was in Japanese or English.

Maybe the other dubs are really different but does it really matter?

I grew up on the English dubs so their really nostalgic for me and personality I love them.

I also think that the music is great in both versions, I love Digimon Are The Champions as much as I love Butter-Fly.

I just see so many people about how shitty the English version is and how you should only watch the sub, but should you?

If some told you that they only watched the dub does that really make them less of a fan then you? Does it really mean you can be rude to them?

To me, it doesn't.

As long as someone has fun and liked watching the anime so much that they want to share that love with others then it doesn't matter.

But I want to fandoms opinion to this, so please, share yours.

So the other day someone posted an AI generated meme on discord

And i thought the design was sooo cute, like, the outfit a mix of both dqb2 builders and hair a mix of both female hairstyles (Didn't notice the whole bunch of Malroth in there too at first u_u)

So i tried the outfit out on Biltrix (name pending)

But what I didn't notice originally was that both the colour pallete sucked (it's layered with a weird yellow filter to hide the atrocity) and that there was no way to make the dress... work.

(I'd originally given them the low twin tails before rising them up in the og design :3)

Even so, I still thought the hair was really cute!

Tried to fix up the AI design, but in the end it made me realize that the original design I came up with was really darn good already.

They were supposed to have a dynamic and cool stance but they came out pissed and tired OTL. I guess that was my mood at the time, its like that meme of artists having the expressions they're drawing but in reverse
